Natalie Portman to star in Wong Kar Wai film

I’ve been a huge fan of director Wong Kar Wai since I first saw Chungking Express at a crappy cinderblock movie theater in Oklahoma City. It completely blew my mind and changed the way I thought about film.

I’ve been a huge fan of Natalie Portman since I first saw her in The Professional. She completely blew my mind and changed the way I think about… well, nevermind.

The exciting news is that Natalie Portman will be playing the lead in Wong Kar Wai’s first English language film: My Blueberry Nights. The film is about a young woman travelling across America looking for love and encounters weird and wonderful characters along the way.
