Scarlett Johannsson talks about sex in the new issue of Allure.

There does seem to be a mistaken belief out there that I am sexually available somehow, which is not to say that I’m not open-minded about sex. Yet I wouldn’t say I’m a serial monogamist, either. I mean, I went through periods of time when I was, ah, single. I do think on some basic level we are animals, and by instinct we kind of breed accordingly.

Very interesting. Scarlett also mentions in the article that she gets tested for HIV twice a year. “It’s part of being a decent human, to be tested for STDs. It’s just disgusting behavior when people don’t. It’s just so irresponsible.”

Scarlett Johannson is looking ultra-hot in this TOTAL FILM pictorial. I haven’t seen The Black Dahlia, but I will totally be renting it when it hits DVD because word on the street is that Scarlett’s sex scenes are so steamy they actually detract from the overall movie experience. That sounds like quality DVD viewing to me!

I know the U.S. critics are hating Southland Tales, but I am still looking forward to it. French critics seem to love it, hailing it as the best movie at Cannes. I’m not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing. In case you forgot, Southland Tales is the sophomore feature from Donnie Darko director Richard Kelly. It also features Sarah Michelle Gellar as a porn star which we already told you about.

We might as well just keep the Scarlett Johannson news coming today. Here is an early look at Scarlett Johannson in the upcoming Brian Depalma flick THE BLACK DAHLIA.

So FHM has apparently named Scarlett Johannson the sexiest woman alive. I can’t keep track of all these different frat-boy magazines, so I wouldn’t have known about this if Rod over at Hitch hadn’t pointed it out. Here’s his take on it..

FHM Magazine has placed actress Scarlett Johansson at the top its “100 Sexiest Women in the World” list. Given that FHM is the kind of magazine that thinks Bam Margera is hilarious, that frat boys are cool and that videogames with the word “Madden” in the title are better than orgasms, this is one of the very few times I’m inclined to agree with them. Heck, I thought she was sexy when I first saw her in GHOST WORLD and now look at her.

The rest of the top 10:
2. Angelina Jolie – Growing on me.
3. Jessica Alba – The only reason I watched INTO THE BLUE last week.
4. Jessica Simpson – Dumb as rocks, but oh so yes.
5. Keira Knightley – Huh-wha? Did they get confused and think they were compiling a list of chicks whose bones are most likely to snap?
6. Halle Berry – Sorry, I just don’t see it.
7. Jenny McCarthy – Maybe 10 years ago.
8. Maria Sharapova – I don’t even know who that is.
9. Carmen Electra – Skanky, yes. Sexy, no.

One thing about all these Sexiest Women lists, is that I guess they’re good for getting a magazine a little attention and probably selling a few extra copies. The other thing they all have in common is that Angelina Jolie is always somewhere in the top 5.

VANITY FAIR seems to know what they are doing when it comes to using scantily clad startlets to get publicity for their magazine. First there was the Lindsey Lohan “nude” photoshoot, now we’ve got Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johannson nude on the cover of the Hollywood Issue. The annual Hollywood issues are always fun but this one looks a little more interesting than usual. This shoot was originally supposed to feature Rachel McAdams as well, but she was uncomfortable with the idea of getting naked and refused to do the shoot. Another photoshoot in the issue features Angelina Jolie naked in a bathtub. The only good photos we have for this one at the moment is the one you see above and much bigger version scanned from a New York Post article. Click the thumbnail to supersize it.
